Hot and cold stone massage

Heat has long been used to ease muscle tension and pain. This massage helps increase blood flow to the affected area. It may also reduce muscle spasms and increase flexibility and range of motion. Cold therapy helps relieve inflammation. Depending on your symptoms, alternating hot and cold stones during your massage may be helpful. Massage acts as a natural bio-feedback mechanism. With regular massage, the body can learn how to return to the rest and digest state with more ease.

Thai Yoga Massage

Unlike many traditional western style massages, Thai massage involves using gentle rocking, rhythmic compressions, thumb pressing and palming, in addition to deep, gentle yoga stretching – to ease you into a deep relaxed state with Acupressure used to stimulate energy flow in the body – promoting balance.

Thai Yoga Massage can be used for relaxation purposes and has countless benefits. It is an holistic treatment which has a therapeutic effect in improving suppleness and flexibility – and relieving mental and emotional stress and tension.

A typical session lasts between 60 mins to 90 minutes but can be longer or shorter depending on your needs.

The massage is undertaken on a mat on the floor. You are fully clothed but it is recommended that you wear loose fitting clothing to allow for maximum stretching and movement.
